My School Life

Hello! My name is Li Hua, and I am a seventh-grade student. Every day, I wake up early in the morning to start my school life. My school is located in the center of our city, surrounded by tall buildings and busy streets. It is a beautiful place where I spend most of my weekdays.

My school day begins at 7:30 a.m., and I arrive at school around 7:15 a.m. The first thing I do when I get to school is put away my bag and greet my classmates. We often chat about what we did over the weekend or talk about homework. Our school has seven classes every weekday, starting with Chinese, followed by math, English, history, science, music, and PE. Each class lasts for about 40 minutes, and there is a ten-minute break between each one.

I love English class because it is so much fun. My teacher always makes learning new words and grammar exciting. She uses games, songs, and stories to help us understand better. In math class, I enjoy solving problems, even though some of them can be challenging. History fascinates me too, especially when we learn about ancient civilizations like Egypt and Rome. Science is another favorite subject of mine because it helps explain how things work in the world.

During lunchtime, we have an hour to eat and relax. Some students bring their own lunches from home, while others buy food from the cafeteria. After lunch, we usually go outside to play basketball, soccer, or just hang out with friends. Physical education (PE) is also great fun as we get to run around, jump, and play different sports.

In the afternoon, after finishing all my classes, I join clubs like the chess club or art club. These activities allow me to explore new interests and make more friends. At the end of the day, I feel tired but happy because I’ve learned so much.

After school, I walk home with my classmates. On the way, we sometimes stop at a small store to buy snacks or share stories about our day. Once I reach home, I quickly finish my homework before dinner. Then, I spend time reading books or watching educational videos to improve my knowledge further.

School life may seem tiring at times, but it’s full of joy and excitement. I am grateful for everything I learn here and the wonderful people I meet every day. I hope to continue growing both academically and socially throughout middle school.
